| Bushfire Recovery Wellness Voucher Program The Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund recently established the Bushfire Recovery Wellness Program. The program will run from 14th February 2011 to 10th August 2011. The aims of the Victorian Bushfire Wellness Voucher Program The program has been established to assist people directly affected by the 2009 Victorian Bushfires to access complementary therapies or allied health services.

Who can apply? If you have been affected by the bushfires and believe you would benefit from accessing complementary therapies you can apply for the vouchers. This is an important program aimed at helping people in bushfire affected areas recover from the impact of the fires. How to apply for the Victorian Bushfire Wellness Vouchers To apply for your Wellness Voucher simply download and complete the Application Form and forward it to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund. If you need any guidance you can ring the fund on 1800 180 213 or alternatively, give the team at Kinglake District Health & Well Being a call on 03 5786 5247 How it will work: Successful applicants will receive four vouchers of $50.00. Each voucher can be applied towards the cost of one therapy session for each individual (including children over five years of age). The vouchers can only be redeemed with treatment providers who hold private health insurance providers numbers – which is the case at Kinglake District Health & Well Being. The voucher does not cover the full cost of treatment and therefore a gap payment will be required for most treatments. What services can you access using the Victorian Bushfire Wellness Vouchers?
